The Fourth Team or the ‘Globe Trotters’ as we are more affectionately known has been entertaining crowds all over Newport & Cwmbran for many years.

We are always a side in ‘flux’ due to the demands for players from the other sides but the one constant has always been we play Good Football led by our current captain, the evergreen Egan.

A mix of the more seasoned professional combined with younger players coming through from the juniors, we have helped develop many of these players who have gone on to start for our Firsts, Reserves & Third sides.

When needed any of our players that have stepped up have performed and done a job for the club but I am sure they miss the ‘Crack’ that we have built up over the years within the squad.

Always the most popular manager on a Saturday when one or more of the other sides do not have game you can often find players buying me drinks telling me both heads look good or even offering to do my shopping

We play our football in the Newport & District Second Division having come from the Old Division 1R League which we won in the 2000 - 01 Season and you never know but one of these years we may even have a settled enough side to even win this one.
