NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM TAKE OVER

Due to the resignation of Matthew Williams because of work commitments and Deri Crimmins because of the impending addition to his family, the club had to find a new Management Team to take over the Reserve team.

Fortunately, some quality people stepped forward and we are pleased to announce that Ben Graham, Kevin Payne and Matthew Ryder will form the new Management Team.

Ben has been a great servant to the club for many years until his knee injury and no-one will forget his goal at Risca which won us the 3rd Division League title in 2006/7. He has great potential as a Manager/Coach and this appointment will give him great experience in that position.

Kevin has also been a great servant to the first team and has been a huge influence in the club's rise from the Gwent County League to the Welsh League 2nd Division. Unfortunately, the effects of his horrendous broken leg a few sesaons ago have now caught up with him. However, he can be a great influence on the youngsters coming through the Reserve team.

Matthew is one of our up and coming coaches who is working towards his FAW "C" Licence. He has been a great servant to the club for many years and is one of those rare "one-club" players. His involvement with the Academy and his experience of Managing last season will stand him in good stead in this position and the experience of Ben & Kevin will be invaluable to him.

We wish the three of them the very best of luck for the rest of the season and beyond.
