What a dramatic end to the season with a play off against Penygarn and Trevethin. Celtic ended the season level on points with Penygarn and Trevethin, unfortunately the superior goal difference did not count so a play off game was in order.
Celtic totally dominated the first half with Billy Dalling and Jordan Talbot on target for Celtic. The score remained 0-2 to Celtic at half time.
Second half and Celtic went missing in certain key areas of the field and Penygarn capatalised on this and scored, although the Celtic defence of Rhys Roberts, Chris Butler, Lewis Isles and Rhys Evans were solid and limited Penygarns chances. All parents and spectators on both sides were very tence during the last ten minutes, however Celtic`s back four and goalkeeper Alex Murten were superb throughout the game and managed to keep Penygarn and Trevethin at bay for a final score of 2-1 to Celtic.
Well done Lads I am so proud of you all.
